Overview
Linaker is one of the UK's leading technical specialists in engineering maintenance. In recent years Linaker has experienced rapid expansion and now serves a number of the UK's largest brands including KFC, Itsu, Knight Frank, Nandos, CBRE as well as large public sector organisations such as the MoD. With ambitious plans and continued expansion across our portfolio forecast, we are seeking to create a new Business Analytics team led by a Business Partner.
Responsibilities
- The Business Partner will lead a small team and report directly to the CFO. The team will be focused primarily on providing data, commercial and financial insights on the performance of key contracts operated by Linaker, presenting these findings to clients alongside recommendations on how Linaker can assist its clients on managing their asset base more effectively.
- In addition to this the Business Partner will work closely with the CFO on providing insights to the Exec Board on Linaker's performance alongside recommendations to drive improvement in Linaker's financial performance.
- The role will require a mix of management, financial, and analytical skills, as well as being experienced in Power BI, Excel and Powerpoint.
- The ideal candidate will also have outstanding presentation and communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas in a succinct and accessible way.
- Experience in managing teams, acquiring and assessing data, along with evidence of being able to work with different teams to drive effective outcomes is essential.
- Sector knowledge is preferred but not a pre-requisite.
