Team Overview

Business Operations & Strategy is a cross-functional team working across the whole company, including strategy and operations. The team partners with senior leadership at Coinbase focusing on high-impact strategic projects and data analyses. We’re currently hiring for our UK entity.

Responsibilities

• Structure complex and ambiguous strategic problems for Coinbase leadership
• Develop a deep understanding of peer and competitor positioning, as well as the emerging crypto landscape, to inform recommendations
• Define hypotheses to identify new opportunities, build business cases, and develop quantitative models to influence strategy
• Utilize data and insights to define changes, design experiments, and implement across products
• Passionately solve complex problems and build scalable processes
• Enhance team capabilities by improving processes and recruiting/developing team members

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years in a business strategy role (Management consulting, Hedge Fund, Banking, Startup operations, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at the executive level
• Strong organizational, project, and time management skills
• Ability to plan, prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines with quality
• Passion for solving complex problems and building scalable processes
• Comfortable in a high-growth, constantly changing environment

Nice to Haves

• Experience in a crypto-focused company or protocol, or at a crypto exchange
• MBA or advanced degree
• SQL experience
• Familiarity with crypto tools like Dune Analytics and Etherscan
