Job Description:

The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team provides real estate transaction expertise, business partnering, space & occupancy planning, capital investment program management, and facility maintenance and operations for Amazon’s corporate office portfolio across multiple countries. We partner with suppliers to ensure quality, innovation, and operational excellence with Amazon’s business and utilize customer-driven feedback to continuously improve and exceed employee expectations.

The Business Operations Manager will work on innovative and high-impact business projects, collaborating with internal partners, industry experts, and vendors to foster innovation and deliver solutions across our campus. This role supports the Regional Director’s team by enhancing business efficiency and driving best practices across diverse lines of business.

The ideal candidate is experienced, engaging, and thrives in an entrepreneurial culture—providing vision, leadership, and clear communication. They should be approachable yet consultative, offering guidance and fostering transparency. The candidate must balance frugality with creativity, approach problem-solving with a root-cause focus, navigate ambiguity, and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities
  • Establish and own the end-to-end business rhythm, incorporating finance, corporate, and global RE&F activities.
  • Oversee the preparation and facilitation of monthly business review meetings, highlighting financial variances and performance against initiatives.
  • Develop and publish quarterly business review presentations.
  • Facilitate monthly leadership meetings to ensure effective agendas.
  • Steward the annual planning process and forums.
  • Manage reporting tools to track regional commitments.
  • Lead cross-team projects for strategic alignment.
  • Represent the region in partner group initiatives and communicate regional needs.
  • Drive deployment of regional programs, managing remote teams as needed.
  • Oversee vendor performance management tracking and feedback.
  • Maintain cross-regional peer connections.
  • Manage department T&E and budget line items.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, Finance, or Engineering.
  • Significant experience in program or project management in real estate, facilities, or space planning.
  • Knowledge of supplier protocols, financial analysis, budgets, contracts, procurement, and vendor quality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with implementation, service provider relationships, and information management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytics and data management skills.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and build remote teams.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and entrepreneurial.
