As a member of the Business Support team, you will provide efficient and effective support to the Leeds Institute of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine (LICAMM) ensuring the effective management of administrative processes. You will act as a key link with internal and external stakeholders, supporting partnerships which enhance research, education and engagement activities. You will be a focal administrative point of the Institute, liaising closely with key Faculty functions such as HR, Facilities, Student Education and Marketing to ensure compliance with legislative and university procedures and policies.
Reporting into the local Business Operations Manager and ultimately to the Faculty Head of Business Support, you will work closely with the Head of Institute, senior Academics and the business/administration team, ensuring the successful day-to-day business operations of the Institute.
You will have a proactive focus with the ability to handle a busy workload efficiently and professionally. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and be able to initiate, build and manage networks (primarily across the Institute, School and Faculty), establishing effective working relationships, dealing diplomatically with a wide range of people and maintaining confidentiality.
