The University of Leeds is one of the top 80 universities in the world. We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities. Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.

As a member of the Business Support team, you will provide efficient and effective support to the Leeds Institute of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine (LICAMM) ensuring the effective management of administrative processes. Reporting into the local Business Operations Manager and ultimately to the Faculty Head of Business Support, you will work closely with the Head of Institute, senior Academics and the business/administration team, ensuring the successful day-to-day business operations of the Institute.

You will have a proactive focus with the ability to handle a busy workload efficiently and professionally. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and be able to initiate, build and manage networks (primarily across the Institute, School and Faculty), establishing effective working relationships, dealing diplomatically with a wide range of people and maintaining confidentiality.
