A major hedge fund is seeking to hire a smart, ambitious, and driven individual to join its business management function, focusing on the firm’s systematic trading strategy.
The successful candidate will join a small, specialized global business management team and will be responsible for managing a broad range of tasks. These include new desk and product launches, expansion into new jurisdictions, onboarding new investment professionals, infrastructure development across front, middle, and back office, and broader business strategy responsibilities. The role involves working closely with managing partners to develop and build out the systematic trading strategy. The hire will act as a bridge between trading, tech, and risk teams, often driving projects and facilitating clear communication among these groups. Additionally, the candidate will manage multiple external relationships with suppliers, brokers, and third-party service providers.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 5-15 years of relevant experience in an investment bank, proprietary trading firm, or hedge fund, particularly within business management, COO, or strategy teams. Candidates from leading management consulting firms with strong financial markets knowledge and experience may also be considered. The firm seeks candidates of the highest caliber, with experience at top-tier firms, excellent academic records, industry qualifications such as CFA or CQF, and ideally advanced technical and coding skills.

The firm provides a comprehensive benefits package, including a daily food allowance, fully subsidized gym membership, gold-level private healthcare, and a substantial pension scheme.
