This role involves managing, motivating, and directing employees to meet and exceed performance targets, ensuring quality and compliance standards are achieved, and filling employer vacancies with suitable participants.

Salary Range:

  • Non-London: £31,800 to £37,200
  • London: £34,900 to £41,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate, direct, and manage a team of Employment Advisors to meet performance and contractual targets within compliance, quality, and health & safety standards.
  • Ensure succession planning and adequate skills within the team.
  • Support team members with learning and development plans, coaching, and motivation to exceed expectations.
  • Conduct quality audits through observations and data sampling.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance for team members.
  • Align team productivity with referral flows and coordinate activities according to contract profiles.
  • Forecast and plan, providing business plans, forecasts, reports, and feedback to the Operations Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience in welfare to work, employment, or recruitment industry.
  • Line management experience of a team.
  • Proven leadership skills, especially in achieving recruitment targets.
  • Strong understanding of Welfare to Work and DWP Programmes.
  • Knowledge of the Commissioner and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to produce and analyse Management Information reports.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Effective planning, resource, and succession management skills.
  • Qualification: At least Level 3 Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including English Language and Maths.
