Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in London is seeking a 162009 Business Manager for Institutional Coverage to provide high-impact business management and operational support. The role offers hybrid working with at least three days in London offices and collaboration across Institutional Coverage, Finance and Risk teams.

The successful candidate will drive strategy, budgets, MI reports, and executive materials, working closely with sector heads and stakeholders while fostering clear internal communications

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a business management role within a regulated financial services environment.
• Experience writing strategies and knowledge of Institutional clients and product requirements.
• Experience producing MI and supporting budgets with Finance and Business Operations.
• Excellent written communication skills for internal updates and executive materials.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and sound judgement.
• Confident stakeholder management with senior sector leaders and discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Drive key priorities across Institutional Coverage, including strategy and project work.
• Support budgets and investment activity, and produce reports and executive materials.
• Act as a connector between Institutional Coverage, CIB Stakeholders and Group partners.
• Shape internal communications, colleague engagement and cultural activity.

About this Opportunity:

This role sits within Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) Coveragecentral Business Management team, providing high-impact business management and operational support for Institutional Coverage.It’sa central rolewithin the coverage business, offering strong exposure across the Institutional sectors and wider CIB.

Working closely with Institutional Sector Heads across Global Banks, Insurance, Sponsors, and Asset & Wealth Management,you’llhelp drive key priorities across Institutional Coverage. This includesstrategy and project work,supporting budgets and investment activity, and producing reports, MI,and executive materials to support decision making.

You’llact as a key connector between Institutional Coverage, CIB Stakeholdersand Group partners such as Finance, Risk, BusinessOperationsand other central teams, ensuring activity is well governed,andrisks are handled effectively. The role alsoinvolvesshaping internal communications, colleagueengagementand cultural activity across the Institutional Coverage community. ****

Whatwe’relooking for:

• 2+ years’ experience in a business management role within a regulated financial services environment
• Experience of writing strategies and knowledge of Institutional clients and product requirements
• Experience producing MI and supporting budgets working closely with Finance and Business Operations
• Excellent written communication skills, showing strength in drafting polished internal updates, meeting notes,briefingsand executive materials
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and stakeholders whilemaintaininghigh attention to detail and sound judgement
• Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable engaging with senior sector leaders and handling sensitive or critical information withappropriate discretion
• Proficiencyin Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)

And any experience of these would be great:

• Familiarity with institutional coverage models, relationship-led banking, and client-focused environments
