An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Business Manager for Clinical Eye Research within the Ophthalmology directorate at the Royal Liverpool Foundation Trust.
The Clinical Eye Research Centre was originally created with one Consultant and one Specialist nurse to facilitate ophthalmic studies/clinical trials. The department now has approximately 38 clinical trials/studies recruiting with a full nursing, medical, and business team in place to bring forward treatments for the future, which will reduce the risks of blindness for many patients.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrable track record working within a clinical research business team at band 6 for a minimum of two years. They must be educated to degree level or equivalent or be currently working towards it. They should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, have excellent attention to detail, and experience of line managing staff within research.
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
