We have a permanent, full-time vacancy for a dedicated Business Management role within in our Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding (DoLS) team, based in the heart of the city, with great access routes to the M5. About you: This role will require an innovative, organised and strategically minded Business Manager to support the effective delivery of the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) service within Adult Social Care. This pivotal role will ensure the smooth operation of the DoLS team, working with a collaborative approach overseeing business processes, performance monitoring, and resource management to support statutory responsibilities under the Mental Capacity Act 2005. The Business Manager will work closely with Operational Managers, Best Interests Assessors (BIAs), and administrative staff to ensure the service is responsive, compliant, and efficient. You will work in line with legislative frameworks to promote the role of ASC and good practice, taking a lead role in the professional learning and development of others, supporting the team functions and working to support the delivery of the wider DoLS service.
