We are seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of the digital transformation within the MoD and comprehensive knowledge of the defence supply chain’s through-life management of equipment to support our digital transformation journey.

The ideal candidate will be based in the South of England (from the Midlands southwards) to minimize travel. The role is home-based with regular UK travel and monthly overnight stays.

Job Purpose:

The Business Manager will collaborate closely with the Board of Directors and Department Heads to support all functions within the Commercial team. The role involves ensuring company processes are appropriate and compliant with ISO quality and information security standards. A key aspect is leveraging knowledge of the customer environment to align the business with the evolving digital transformation of the MoD and defence supply chain’s through-life management of equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop relationships with MOD equipment support and defence digital stakeholders.
2. Attend conferences and seminars related to equipment support and digital transformation.
3. Build and maintain relationships with marketing partners.
4. Plan and participate in on-site marketing events.
5. Oversee the company’s Quality and Information Security Management Systems and certifications.
6. Manage quality-specific processes within the Quality Management System.
7. Ensure the smooth operation of the Company Head Office.
8. Maintain the Company’s health and Safety policies and procedures.
9. Manage office administration policies.

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Understanding of digital transformation in defence equipment support processes.
