Main Responsibilities

As ITS Business Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of the business plan, translating strategic objectives into measurable commercial and operational outcomes. You will take ownership of the business unit's profit and loss performance, managing revenue, margins, cashflow and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with company governance and commercial processes.

You will oversee the successful delivery of ITS projects and maintenance services, ensuring all safety, quality, environmental, contractual and programme requirements are met. Working closely with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will build strong relationships, identify new business opportunities and lead bid development and mobilisation activities to support future growth.

The role will also involve managing supply chain performance, driving procurement excellence and encouraging innovation through the adoption of new technologies, systems and processes. In addition, you will lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and high‑performing culture that reflects company values and supports continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a resilient and adaptable leader who can operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels. You will be commercially astute, highly motivated and committed to continuous improvement, with a passion for developing people, driving innovation and delivering outstanding outcomes for clients and the business. Professional membership, project management qualifications or relevant engineering experience would be beneficial but are not essential for candidates who can demonstrate equivalent expertise and leadership capability. You will possess outstanding stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships both internally and externally. Experience in sectors such as transportation, infrastructure, telecommunications, utilities or systems integration would be highly advantageous, particularly where exposure to Intelligent Transportation Systems has been gained.
