Job description

First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Business Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

You will work closely with the Board of Directors and the Heads of Departments to provide business support for all functions within the Commercial team, ensuring processes are appropriate and compliant with ISO quality and information security standards.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working arrangements to meet team, customer, and company needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Bring knowledge and experience of the customer environment to assist with aligning the business with the digital transformation of the MOD and defence supply chain’s through-life management of equipment.
  • Develop relationships with MOD equipment support and defence digital stakeholders.
  • Attend conferences and seminars related to equipment support and digital transformation.
  • Establish and grow relationships with relevant marketing partners.
  • Plan and participate in on-site marketing events.
  • Oversee the company’s quality and information security management systems and certification.
  • Manage quality-specific processes within the quality management system.
  • Support the smooth operation of the company head office.
  • Manage the company’s health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Oversee office administration policies.
