Job summary

Think FE are recruiting a Business Lecturer to join a well-established college in Northamptonshire. This is a permanent, full-time role for an experienced business professional or lecturer passionate about developing the next generation of business professionals.

You will plan and deliver engaging Business teaching across FE and HE, support students, contribute to course development, and uphold safeguarding, equality and inclusion.

Qualifications

• A Degree, HNC or equivalent vocational experience in Business or related discipline.
• GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
• Strong practical experience within Business management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete the appropriate process.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business teaching across full-time, part-time and short-course provision.
• Act as a course tutor, supporting students' progress, attendance and achievement.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of Business programmes.
• Create high-quality, motivational and inclusive learning experiences.
• Support students through effective teaching, pastoral care and academic guidance.
• Participate in internal verification and quality assurance processes.
• Maintain accurate learner records and complete relevant course administration.
• Contribute to student recruitment activities and wider college events.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion throughout your work.
