Job Purpose:

Deliver application consultancy, implementation services, presales, training, and support to customers and colleagues. As part of the optimizations team, you will work on small projects and optimizations for existing customers, focusing on D365FO and AX2012, with some involvement in earlier versions.

You should have broad knowledge of D365 modules, including finance, trade, logistics, stock, warehousing, procurement, and sourcing. An understanding of the Microsoft stack, including Azure, Data pipelines, and integrations, is desirable. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business processes, clarify requirements, and define solutions.
  • Design and document business processes.
  • Lead implementation streams through to delivery and post-Go-Live support.
  • Conduct solution playback sessions and perform fit-gap analysis.
  • Facilitate workshops on solutions design and process mapping.
  • Deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Create sustainable client solutions.
  • Ensure successful software implementation according to project methodology.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Provide progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities.
  • Collaborate with clients on continuous improvement roadmaps.
  • Perform additional duties as instructed by the Head of Optimizations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O in a consulting role, plus 5+ years in related roles, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Expertise across multiple D365 modules.
  • Strong presentation, demonstration, and training skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a consulting or end-user role with D365FO/AX.
  • Business requirements analysis skills.
  • Certification in at least one key D365FO area (e.g., Manufacturing, Distribution, Trade).
  • Experience in building continuous improvement roadmaps.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site support.
  • Experience with Retail, Rental, or Advanced Warehouse functionalities.
  • Knowledge of business process mapping and documentation.
  • Experience as a Senior Consultant in at least one implementation project.
  • Understanding of the broader Microsoft stack, including Azure, CE, and Data pipelines.
  • Willingness to learn and expand skills as needed.
