Organization & Department Overview

The ISG, Information Services Group, Data Solutions organization aims to support Citi on its journey to adopt a data driven culture by delivering innovative technology solutions and simplifying access to quality data and business intelligence. The ISG organization works in partnership with data clients across Citi business lines deploying solutions to increase their competitiveness, through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data. This role is part of Reference Data Management group in ISG Data Solutions.

The Lead Business Analyst is a Senior level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance, and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning. (Individual Contributor Role)

Team Overview

This Execution BA Team works on a global strategic technology platform - Global Corporate Action Event Repository. Major Tasks Involve - Processing Vendor Data Feeds & Internal Upstream Client Data, Mapping Data, Analyzing and Researching Data, Working on Swift Messages, User Interface, Data Publishing to downstream client (via Cloud, custom publisher) as XML/ Reports, Rules & governance, Audit, Compliance. Coverage, Accuracy and Timeliness of Information are the key drivers. Client and User Requirements drives the Product Roadmap. Team is spread around globally in multiple locations.

Job Description

  • Create Business and Function Requirements
  • Lead/Manage Client Deliverables and Book of Work
  • Provide Direction and Technical Leadership on complex, high-impact projects.
  • Data Modelling, Mapping, Mining and Transformation
  • Work closely with IT, PM and Operations partners
  • Develop Interfaces - Web GUI / API
  • Work with Data Providers Vendors (Internal & External)
  • Define EPICs and User Stories based on Client Requirements
  • Work with Stakeholders
  • Documentation and User Training
Required Skills
  • Working with Clients and capture Business Requirement
  • Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
  • SQL Proficiency
  • Validation and Testing in collaboration with Dev/QA/Operations.
  • Understanding of Data Model
  • Vendor/Data Source Hierarchy for Golden Copy
  • Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
  • College degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure
  • Data Oriented with an excellent attention to detail
Qualifications
  • Proven relevant experience
