As a Business Intelligence Lead, you will be driven by a passion for transforming data into actionable insights, with proven experience in data analytics and information management. You will ensure data integrity and deliver accurate, timely analysis to support strategic decision-making. Your ability to quickly grasp processes and proactively anticipate data and reporting needs will be critical. By providing high-quality insights, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy and driving business performance.
You’ll need to be resilient and able to handle pressures within an industry committed to net zero by 2050. The role is based in Warwick with hybrid working options. We are open to full-time, part-time, and flexible working arrangements.
About us
At National Grid Electricity System Operator (ESO), our goal is to operate a zero-carbon electricity system for Great Britain by 2025, utilizing wind, solar, and hydropower without relying on carbon-based generators.
Becoming the National Energy System Operator
In 2024, the ESO will transition to the National Energy System Operator (NESO), an independent body responsible for planning and operating the electricity and gas networks in Great Britain. The ESO will be at the core of NESO, expanding capabilities across electricity, natural gas, and hydrogen, considering trade-offs between them.
The organization will be a public corporation with an independent Board, operationally independent from government, the regulator, and commercial interests. It will be licensed and regulated by Ofgem, focusing on sustainable, affordable, and secure system operations.
