Job overview
EEAST has an opening for a senior role within our Informatics Department - The Business Intelligence lead will line manage a small team of advanced analysts and be accountable for providing corporate reporting to the organisation.
Suitable candidates will need excellent NHS dataset understanding as they will be providing specialist advice and guidance on statistical matters including the development and analysis of health-related data sets that can be used for performance reporting. Datasets include CAD, GRS, ESR, clinical and other operational data to support the organisation.
The Business intelligence lead will deliver highly complex and sensitive information to large groups of senior managers in and Trust Board and Committees. They will also be responsible for leading analytical projects and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
Main duties of the job
Liaising with departmental leads and executives across the organisation is key to enable the most insightful metrics are available to the Trusts board for performance monitoring. The role is responsible for the completion and innovation of the trust board and committee level reporting and maintaining the standards of producing reporting that aligns to NHSE's insightful board guidance.
The candidate will need to be able to travel to Trust sites for meetings with executives when required.
Partial remote working is possible for this role and can be discussed with the successful candidate.
