Job summary

Thurrock Council is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join the Business Intelligence Team. The role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights using SQL and delivering reporting to support decision making for the Place directorate.

The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across services to improve local governance and outcomes for residents, with flexible and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

Salary: £45,624 - £52,038 per annum

Grade: F

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 37hours per week

If so, we are looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Developer within our Business Intelligence Team. The role will primarily support the organisations Place directorate. With this in mind, we are particularly keen for applicants with relevant experience in the following service areas;

  • Landlord Services
  • Planning, Regeneration and Growth
  • Property and Asset Management
  • Environment and Waste
  • Street Scene and Leisure
  • Facilities Management
  • Fleet and Highways
  • Housing

As a BI Developer, you will leverage your expertise in SQL to transform raw data into meaningful insights, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, shape the future of local governance, and contribute to building a smarter, more efficient community through your reporting prowess. If you are dedicated to turning data into actionable intelligence and are able to evidence the relevant experience, we invite you to embark on this exciting journey with us.
