About the Role

We are seeking a talentedBusiness Intelligence (BI) Developerto join Boku’s fast-growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will transform data into compelling dashboards, interactive reports, and actionable insights that empower our business to make strategic decisions.

This is more than just a reporting role—you’ll be a hands-on builder, a creative problem-solver, and a collaborative partner to analysts, engineers, and decision-makers. Key Objectives

• Design and developinteractive dashboardsand reports that provide clarity and insight
• Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and business requirements
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all visualizations
• Partner with analytics engineers to improve data pipelines and semantic layers that feed your dashboards

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain user-friendly dashboards using tools such asTableau or other BI tools
• Collaborate with analysts and business teams to transform ad hoc queries intoscalable, reusable reporting assets
• Translate business needs into intuitive visual designs and data flows
• Ensure dashboards are performant, well-structured, and accessible to a wide range of users
• Work with data engineers to design robust data pipelines and curated datasets usingSQLandPython
• Manage permissions, releases, and usage across BI tools (e.g., Tableau Server or Cloud)
• Support end users through training, documentation, and technical guidance

Skills and Experience

Core Capabilities:

• Proficiency withTableauor other modern BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Ability to design data-driven dashboards that are clear, scalable, and meet business needs
• Strong working knowledge ofSQLfor data querying and transformation
• Experience working withPythonfor advanced data manipulation
• Understanding ofdata modellingandsemantic layer design
• Comfortable working with sensitive or complex data from multiple domains (e.g., HR, Finance, Risk, Marketing)

Desirable Knowledge:

• Experience withTableau Serveror Tableau Cloud administration (e.g., permissions, licensing, publishing)
• Exposure to large-scale data environments, eg AWS, GCP, Azure orother cloud platforms
• Familiarity withAgileways of working (Scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Understanding of embedding dashboards in web applications or other platforms
• Knowledge ofJavaScriptorother scripting languagesfor interactive elements or integrations
