Job Description:

The Amazon Payments Acceptance & Experience Team is responsible for how Amazon’s customers pay on Amazon’s sites and through Amazon’s services around the globe. You will work with the biggest players in the payments industry to deliver best-in-class customer payment experiences while driving change in the industry.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll support the team by identifying opportunities to improve the payment experience in the EU. You will analyze payments data, customer preferences, and payments partners data to inform decisions. You will also build reports and mechanisms that help scale the team at the regional level through self-service tools. Additionally, you'll collaborate with other analytics teams to define models that refine business decisions.

The role can be based in various locations across Europe, including London, Paris, Madrid, Milan, and Munich.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Gather data and perform ad-hoc analyses to generate actionable insights and improve the customer payment experience in Europe.
  • Use data mining, segmentation, and other analytical techniques to identify trends and create measurement dashboards from internal and external data.
  • Work proactively with the business team to conduct deep dives and drive resolutions.
  • Develop tools and dashboards for self-service access by the team.
  • Create models to forecast adoption, growth, or profitability of projects.
  • Suggest test methodologies to validate hypotheses before making investment decisions.
  • Utilize advanced SQL, Python, Excel (Power Queries), and knowledge of hypothesis testing and data visualization tools.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, advanced Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to develop models forecasting adoption, growth, or profitability.
  • Experience with data mining, segmentation, and analytical techniques to identify trends and create dashboards.
