Job description

This leading Property Organisation requires a Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer to join an expanding team involved in their data-driven decisions transformational programme. You will play a pivotal role in improving data quality, access, and literacy, transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive change and meet evolving customer needs.

Main job responsibilities:

  1. Support the technical approach to business insights reporting through developing databases, reusable data assets, and data collection strategies to optimise efficiency and integrity.
  2. Oversee and develop existing business insight reports.
  3. Create innovative analyses, reports, dashboards, and insights using various tools to empower stakeholders in making data-driven improvements.
  4. Perform data extractions for regulatory reports and external data delivery.
  5. Conduct quantitative data analysis using statistical techniques, interpreting trends to inform strategic decisions.
  6. Address ad-hoc reporting needs efficiently and provide expert guidance on data queries.
  7. Maintain understanding of key business software and stay updated on emerging technologies.
  8. Train colleagues on dashboard and report utilisation to foster a culture of data literacy.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, and DAX, with knowledge of Python and R being advantageous. Experience with cloud platforms like Snowflake or Databricks, and expertise in T-SQL, database management, ETL frameworks, and data mining are essential. Skills in building reusable data models, handling raw data, and visualising data effectively are required. Strong analytical skills, experience in user acceptance testing, and the ability to communicate complex data to non-experts are also important.
