We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Coordinating Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape how we use data to improve health and social care research.
Who are we?
The NIHR is the UK’s largest funder of health and social care research, supporting life-changing advancements in health and social care delivery. As part of our team, you’ll play a vital role in leveraging data science to shape the future of research funding.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst within our Insight Team, you’ll support the collection, analysis, and communication of data to inform NIHR’s strategy, policy, and operations. You’ll also help enhance the team’s four core services:
Data Service – Supporting data-driven decision-making
Information Request Service – Responding to urgent and routine data queries
Portfolio Analysis Service – Identifying research trends and gaps
Research & Evaluation Service – Evaluating the impact of NIHR-funded research

Desirable experience includes knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
