Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to enable data-driven decision making through dashboards, reporting and insights. You will own data visualisation, drive transformation initiatives and coordinate continuous improvement demand across the business.

You will work with ERP/SAP, MES (Apriso), Power Platform, Power BI, and Dassault tools to deliver measurable value and enable data accessibility.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Fabric).
  • Experience with data models and structured data sources.
  • Experience delivering small to medium projects or change initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with SAP, MES or manufacturing systems beneficial.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, Dassault ecosystem or similar environments beneficial.

Job description

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for enabling data-driven decision making through data visualisation, reporting and insight. The role also drives and coordinates business and digital transformation initiatives while owning the identification, prioritisation and coordination of continuous improvement demand. You will work closely with Business Systems Analysts, IT, stakeholders and external partners to deliver measurable value through data, digital solutions and structured change delivery.

What You'll Do
Data Visualisation & Insight
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (Power BI) that provide clear, actionable insight
  • Translate business requirements into meaningful data visualisations and reporting solutions
  • Improve data accessibility, accuracy and usability across the business
  • Promote a data-driven culture and user adoption of reporting tools
Transformation Delivery (Business & Digital)
  • Support and drive delivery of business transformation initiatives aligned to strategy
  • Lead small to medium 'mini projects' including:
  • Data and reporting improvements
  • Digital ecosystem implementations (e.g. Dassault platforms)
  • Document management and business software solutions
  • Data architecture initiatives (e.g. Unified Namespace)
  • Define scope, requirements and success criteria with stakeholders
  • Coordinate delivery with Business Systems Analysts and third-party providers
  • Manage progress, risks and timelines to ensure successful delivery
Continuous Improvement (CI) Management
  • Own the capture, prioritisation and management of CI demand
  • Work with stakeholders to define and shape improvement opportunities
  • Manage demand against available capacity and business priorities
  • Coordinate delivery with internal teams and external partners
  • Track and communicate progress, risks and realised benefits
Decision Making & Ownership

The role is responsible for prioritising continuous improvement demand in alignment with business priorities and available delivery capacity. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, working independently while engaging stakeholders across the organisation to drive outcomes.

Success Measures
  • Adoption and usage of dashboards and reporting tools
  • Delivery of transformation and CI activities aligned to agreed priorities and timelines
  • Improvements in data visibility, quality and decision-making across the business
What You'll Bring

You will work across a modern digital manufacturing landscape including ERP (SAP), MES systems (Apriso), Power Platform, data visualisation tools (Power BI, Fabric) and evolving digital and integration platforms (Dassault suit) aligned to business strategy.

Team Context

You will be part of the Business Systems team, working closely with Business Systems Analysts who focus on system configuration, delivery and testing. This role complements that capability by owning demand, prioritisation, and transformation coordination.
