Headquartered in the UK, GMG generates 90 percent of its revenue from international markets and has received more than 40 business and games industry awards.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Green Man Gaming is a data-driven company, and our Business Intelligence team sits at its core. We're a small, collaborative team of five with diverse backgrounds and a shared passion for data, insight, and analytics. We thrive on curiosity, continuous learning, and solving real business problems.

We're hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the team at a pivotal time for the business. This is a junior to mid-level role, ideal for someone with prior experience in analytics, reporting, or BI, who's looking to take the next step and grow in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

You'll work closely with our Senior Data Engineer and stakeholders across various departments - from Marketing and Trading to Engineering, Finance, and Fraud - architecting data pipelines, business process automations and improvements, building reporting tools, and delivering insights that drive critical decision-making.

To succeed, you'll need to be technically capable, self-directed, curious, and comfortable taking full ownership of your work from concept to delivery. You should thrive on solving problems independently, learning new tools, and collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

We work remotely, but stay connected with regular team collaboration and monthly in-person workdays and socials in central London. If you're a strong communicator with a natural drive to explore, understand, and build - this role is for you.

Requirements

KEY DELIVERABLES:

  • Take full ownership of assigned tasks, managing your workflow and delivering independently, pro-actively building Subject Matter Expertise and an in-depth understanding of the business context.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, define problems, and develop actionable solutions
  • Design and document data workflows and processes clearly and consistently
  • Build and maintain clean, reliable data pipelines in SQL, Python and JavaScript
  • Ensure high data quality and integrity across systems, adhering to best practices and data privacy standards
  • Create insightful reports and dashboards using Looker to support business decisions
  • Identify inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and drive positive change

WE NEED:

We're looking for someone who demonstrates ownership, autonomy, and initiative. You should have:

  • A proactive mindset is the key! - you're not just waiting for tasks, you're spotting and taking opportunities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - you're comfortable talking to stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams at all levels
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Demonstrated curiosity and the drive to understand how systems and data connect
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Reporting role (or equivalent projects/internships)
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases or data warehouses
  • Comfort with data analysis and process mapping

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial - but if you're technically inclined and eager to learn, we'll support your growth:

  • Python & JavaScript for scripting and data pipeline development
  • Looker or other modern BI platforms
  • Working with cloud data tools, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and/or CI/CD processes

Benefits

WE HAVE:

  • Flexible working
  • 22 days paid holiday per year (excluding Bank Holidays) increased with the length of service
  • 1 month sabbatical leave following 3 years of employment and 2 months after 6 years
  • Company Share Option Plan
  • 50% game discount for employees
  • Pension scheme
  • Company days & social events
  • Discounts and many other perks
