Position Overview

Crux Product Design is a forward-thinking and fast-growing consultancy and we’re on the lookout for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you’ll transform data into meaningful insights that shape strategic decisions and drive Crux’s growth.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines, working with designers, engineers, scientists and commercial teams, to uncover opportunities, track performance, and tell compelling stories with data. We’re looking for someone who combines analytical precision with creative problem-solving, who can move seamlessly between complex data modelling and clear, impactful storytelling.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to identify opportunities where data analysis can add value
  • Translate business needs into clear data requirements and solutions
  • Extract, analyse, and interpret data to uncover trends and inform decisions
  • Create, maintain, and deliver reports, dashboards, and BI tools for senior stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and compliance with legislation
  • Streamline processes, automate reporting, and improve efficiency where possible
  • Stay informed on the latest BI tools, technologies, and industry trends
What We’re Looking For
Essential
  • Proven experience in business intelligence, data engineering, data analysis or a related role
  • Strong skills in SQL and BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Desirable
  • Experience working within consultancy or product development environments
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and tools (e.g. Python)
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance in regulated industries
