Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Business Insights and Change Analyst for a 6 month contract based in London or Edinburgh, 2 times per week in the office.

Purpose of the Role:

This role involves supporting the delivery of Pan-Bank Customer Segmentation initiatives, which are critical to enabling strategic transformation across the organisation. In addition, the role supports ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) activities such as performance reporting, brand tracking, target-setting, and campaign evaluation.

As a Business Insights and Change Analyst you will be responsible for:

• Supporting project and change delivery activities, including: Creating and maintaining project templates and documentation, following up on actions and chasing progress across teams and ensuring timely delivery of tasks and milestones.
• Assisting with customer reporting and BAU processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborating closely with the Customer Insights & Excellence team and wider Marketing department.
• Engaging with key stakeholders across the Franchise teams (Retail, Commercial, Institutional Banking) and Functional teams (Product, Data Analytics, etc.)
• Participating in daily stand-ups to review progress, set priorities, and address blockers.
• Contributing to quarterly planning sessions.

What we require from the candidate:

• Good customer insight all-rounder with a focus on driving activity.
• Financial Services background in a Brand/Strategy environment.
• Experience of delivering customer Segmentation projects would be a distinct advantage.
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Experience designing and managing project meeting and reporting.
• Strong PowerPoint & Excel skills for storytelling.
