Yolk Recruitment is recruiting for a Business Improver to work on a 12-month contract with our major engineering client based in Broughton.

Role Profile
  • Computer literate - knowledge of Google Suite and SAP ideally
  • Compilation of KPIs using SAP and Google Suite
  • Compile invoicing documentation
  • Control Goods in and Goods out
  • Deal with Sub-contract firms and compile all associated documentation - quotes, purchase orders, contractor reviews
  • Part ordering
  • Audit time booking of Tooling personnel
  • Liaise and assist with the Tooling Planner
  • Liaise with Customer to arrange release of Tooling for internal and external work
  • Create Yearly recertification Schedule, Roll Out and amend as required
  • Plan ad-hoc/project laser work
  • Coordinate with site planners to ensure project timelines are met and adjust plans as necessary
  • Update recertification plan and database upon completion to support KPIs
  • Review weekly Out Of Life Tooling list
  • Monitor and generate KPIs for recert hours and report concerns to process managers
  • Prepare sales and operations packs
  • Engage sub-contractors when recertification cannot be carried out internally
Key Skills

The successful candidate must demonstrate experience working in a busy office environment and a proven track record of efficiency.

Familiarity with Google Suite and SAP is advantageous, but training will be provided.

Excellent communication skills are essential to provide precise and current information upon request.

Basic engineering knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential.
