A public service organization is seeking a General Admin Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term position in Glenochil. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day administration within the Business Improvements area, support management teams, and ensure compliance with data protection legislation. Job Purpose The 12-month FTC post is within the Business Improvements Area and ideally suited for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can contribute effectively to the delivery within the area and support the Establishment Business need. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks of the Business Improvements Area and the general wider office.
Responsibilities
Maintenance of effective and efficient electronic and paper-based filing and data recording systems, including Prisoner Records, ensuring compliance with Data Protection Legislation, Information Security and SPS Guidelines.
Provide support to the Senior Management Team, minute taking for a variety of meetings following process, timescales and requirements.
Other duties, commensurate with role and level within the organisation, deemed necessary to ensure the continuation of an effective and efficient service.

Qualification Requirements
Two national five qualifications, including English and Maths/Arithmetic or relevant administrative experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements
Minute taking experience
Competent in using software such as Microsoft Packages (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and Power point Presentation.
A good understanding of working knowledge of data protection issues.
