Business Engagement Lead for UK/Lloyd's

UK, London

As AXA XL continues to invest in its end-to-end capabilities, the Business Engagement Lead will ensure effective coordination across businesses and functions to evaluate, prioritize, and drive change successfully throughout the organization.

The Business Engagement Lead will be the key contact for all change initiatives (technology and non-technology) for UK / Lloyd's, challenging, prioritizing, and providing holistic views to the change portfolio.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

The Business Engagement Lead will be responsible for:

• Guiding strategy related to investments and prioritization within the UK / Lloyd's region, ensuring global business architecture alignment, identifying high-level solutions, and connecting with other functions where similar solutions exist.
• Keeping abreast of the change landscape and the overall AXA XL project portfolio, reporting on the change portfolio to stakeholders, and developing relevant expertise in business processes and applications.
• Serving as SME for projects, participating in project meetings as needed.

Responsibilities also include assessing initial ideas, triggering pre-project analysis, business case development, and benefits/costs analysis, as well as ensuring project initiation, identifying dependencies and risks, and supporting change management during project rollouts. Occasionally, driving specific initiatives.

You will report to the Head of Transformation & Change Delivery.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience managing large-scale programs, preferably in insurance and international environments.
• Proven stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in strategy consulting is advantageous.
• Ability to handle conflicting priorities and multitask efficiently.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Business acumen with technology knowledge, including software development lifecycle.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
