Job summary

MK College Group is seeking a Creative and inspiring Business & Digital Skills Lecturer to deliver engaging classes to learners based in HMP Leyhill. You will guide learners to achieve qualifications, build confidence and employability, and support their education journey within the prison environment.

We value inspiring teaching that reduces recidivism and prepares learners for future education or employment opportunities on release, with a strong focus on learner wellbeing and progression.

• Creative and inspiring lecturer capable of delivering engaging classes to learners in a prison setting.
• Experience in supporting learners to achieve qualifications and build confidence and employability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Business and Digital Skills lessons to prisoners within the establishment.

Job description

HMP Leyhill have an exciting opportunity for a Business, & Digital Skills Lecturer to join the prison-based Education Team. We are seeking a creative and inspiring Lecturer who can deliver engaging classes to learners who are based within the prison. As Business, & Digital Skills Lecturer, you will be supporting learners to achieve success and guiding them through the courses. You will not only help them to achieve qualifications, but also confidence and skills they can apply to employment upon release, or to other areas within education. MK College Group works to reduce re-offending by providing learners with opportunities to learn and develop skills.
