Who better to teach our learners than those who have worked directly in the industries!
HMP Bristol have an exciting opportunity for a Tutor to join the Education Team, delivering a popular accredited qualification to prison-based learners.
The short course is delivered to small groups of up to 10 learners, one week at a time. This structure means you’ll regularly meet new learners and have the chance to make a fresh impact each week.
Alongside CSCS delivery, you will support the wider education programme by delivering other health and safety qualifications and, from time to time, induction sessions.
Many learners have a diverse range of needs and may have had negative experiences of education in the past. Your role is to inspire confidence, create a positive, supportive learning environment and guide them through their courses.
A teaching qualification would be desirable, however those willing to work towards a teaching qualification will be considered - we can provide the training to help you achieve your full potential.
