The Opportunity

We have an exciting opening for a natural-born Sales Hunter who is energetic, results-driven, and passionate about delivering exceptional service. Join our dynamic team and take charge of managing customer relationships and daily sales activities within Victoria, with a special focus on the healthcare and specialty portfolio.

As the Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for :

  • Identifying and securing new customers within the healthcare and specialty sectors through your outstanding sales closing skills and proactive prospecting.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering growth among both new and existing clients in the healthcare and specialty portfolio.
  • Managing a robust pipeline of prospect opportunities within these sectors.
  • Leveraging market intelligence, best practices, and relevant economic trends in the healthcare and specialty industries to inform decision-making.
  • Traveling to customer sites across Victoria to build and maintain strong relationships.

What We Need From You

You will be a great fit for our team if you have :

  • Aptitude to learn
  • Experience in External Technical Sales / Account Management (preferable not essential)
  • A motivation and drive to achieve results & exceed targets
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to interact with customers and staff at all levels

Role

Ideally to succeed in the role and hit the ground running, it would be a huge advantage if you also have :

  • Prior experience with specialty or medical gases (preferable not essential)
  • Sales experience in Universities, Commercial Labs, pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, or medical industries
  • Tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering, Science or similar
