This role is known internally as System Transformation Specialist.

At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.

We have a role in our Advanced Wound Management business where you can make an impact. We're looking for someone to create and deliver commercial strategies to drive new wins and market share growth across the ICS landscape. You will engage with senior clinical and non-clinical decision makers to prepare value-based healthcare proposals aligned with NHS priorities. Reporting to the Director for System Transformation, your internal partners will include S+N Commercial Leads, the Sales Director, and Area Business Leaders.

Your role will include:

  • Delivering commercial deals to customers by creating propositions for new and existing clients across your territory, ensuring they deliver high returns.
  • Embedding our custom ordering platform and other digital tools with customers. Understanding their needs will help increase business throughput via these channels, disrupting competitors and improving patient outcomes.
  • Developing market segmentation and deep customer understanding to build value-based healthcare proposals, focusing on stalled wounds and how Smith+Nephew's program can meet customer needs.
  • Building a strong customer network with senior executives to develop national business opportunities and recruit market access pathfinders within the NHS.

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • Strong commercial sales experience within the medical device industry.
  • Significant experience selling to senior (non-clinical) NHS customers at regional or national levels.
