Job Title: Business Development Specialist

Location: London

We’re seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Specialist to join a leading financial services provider specialising in asset servicing. This is a client-facing role focused on supporting their growth by driving new client acquisition and expanding service offerings across target markets

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with commercial strategy and client selectivity policies.
  • Represent the business externally at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, including Marketing, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and IT.
  • Develop and implement strategic action plans to target and win new clients.
  • Respond to RFPs and RFIs, collaborating with internal teams to produce compelling proposals.
  • Negotiate service terms, prepare pricing proposals, and ensure the administrative and legal completeness of new client files.
  • Oversee onboarding processes and ensure compliance with KYC and risk assessment protocols.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to ensure commercial competitiveness.

You will need:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within asset servicing, banking, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services.
  • Skilled in prospecting, negotiating, and closing commercial agreements.
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations, risk evaluation, and KYC procedures.
