Job Description

Primary Duties & Expectations:

  1. Contact and generate new clients for all service locations in PA & CA.
  2. Development of emergency services related client base.
  3. Job functions include cold/warm calling, setting appointments, navigating these companies to locate new projects to bid, and building the list of new prospects.
  4. Focus on services related to engineering prospects, environmental consultants, construction companies, insurance companies, insurance adjusters, utility companies, EMA organizations including fire, police, government entities, spill consultants, trucking companies, shipping yards, corporate manufacturers, plant closures, and industrial clients in present operating areas and all others determined by the organization.
  5. It is expected that 80% of your time will be devoted to these top five priorities:
  1. Cold/Warm calling for new business (15% - 20%).
  2. Face-to-Face meetings with new and existing prospects and clients (25% - 40%).
  3. Follow up on client files as needed to fulfill desired results (15%).
  4. Communication between clients and estimating/sales management (10%).
  5. Putting together proposals to deliver on time to clients (15%).

Duties Continued:

  1. Follow up with clients after a spill response has occurred.
  2. Maintain a pipeline list of potential and existing clients.
  3. Contact/Visit existing clients and maintain relationships.
  4. Interact with emergency services including but not limited to fire, local and state police, EMS, and regulatory agencies including DEP, DOT, and EPA.
  5. Participate in industry-related trade shows, events, associations, and related functions.
  6. Attend and successfully complete related training and education seminars/courses/conferences.
  7. This position requires some overnight travel.
