Job Description:

Business Development Representative United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Job Description

Telent is looking for a new addition to the Sales & Marketing team as part of the Network Services division. We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Business Development Representative to join our team and help build and develop relationships within the Emergency Services, Public Sector, Government, Utilities, and Nuclear space. This role involves working through a Telent training plan and collaborating with the team at our Warwick and Camberley offices, at least one day per week, alternating weekly.

At Telent, you will have the opportunity to be part of something bigger. To keep things moving, to connect people. It's important work that we are passionate about. Learning fast, inspiring colleagues, and making the entire organization run smoother and better. Join us and help keep the nation's critical networks connected and protected 24/7.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll play a multi-faceted role that is vital to Telent’s go-to-market strategy. As you learn and grow in the BDR role, we’ll help you map out a career path at Telent for years to come.

BDR - What you’ll do:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of Telent, our offerings, and the markets we operate in, to educate prospects.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to support the sales pipeline and growth by researching target accounts and key stakeholders within these customer structures.
  • Create and coordinate campaigns for prospect accounts based on research of your territory.
  • Perform targeted outreach via phone calls, emails, social media, and your own creative efforts to generate interest in Telent’s services.
  • Follow up with warm inbound leads from marketing, turning them into meetings and new business opportunities.
  • Analyze and report on weekly activities and pipeline efforts.

BDR - Who you are:

We seek resilient, driven, self-motivated candidates who adopt a practical working style. You should have relevant experience in sales, especially outbound sales, and the ability to generate and identify new leads. Experience from other industries is welcomed. A university degree or equivalent is preferred, with some office experience.

Telent - What we offer:

A career at Telent spans sectors, roles, technologies, and customers, offering opportunities to develop, learn new skills, and make an impact. We value diversity and inclusion, creating an environment where everyone can be themselves and thrive at work.

We’re passionate about fostering a culture that respects differences and celebrates diverse ideas. Join us to make a difference and grow your career.
