Login VSI is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) that is eager and excited to kick off their sales career and join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have an energetic, can-do attitude and be comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment. You will continually be in front of our prospects and must be comfortable spending time speaking on the phone to prospects from different industries, territories, and job levels. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal interactions is critical. You will work hand in hand with our Account Managers to target identified prospect accounts, define a pursuit strategy, use a series of tools to make contact with the appropriate individuals and set up qualified sales meetings.

Key responsibilities:

The Business Development Representative will work hand in hand with the Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to target identified prospect accounts, define a pursuit strategy and use a series of tools to contact the appropriate individuals and setup a qualified sales meeting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Prospect key stakeholders of the company’s target accounts and customers via (cold) calls, e-mail, LinkedIn and social strategies
  2. Focus on finding and developing new prospects and existing customer base in the assigned territory
  3. Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Account Executives
  4. Use provided prospecting tools and maintain excellent records in the CRM and other appropriate systems
  5. Properly describe the business value of our products to prospects
  6. Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales demos
  7. Assist Account Executives during potential customer meetings
  8. Assist with building long term relationships with (potential) customers
  9. Participate in Marketing events as required, working at a tradeshow booth and interacting with prospects face-to-face
Skills:
  1. Relevant sales experience
  2. Desirable: 0-1 years of experience in a quota carrying position such as a previous BDR role, or accountable to hit some defined target
  3. Experience and high energy - comfortable with outreach such as cold calling and emailing
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  5. Strong time management and organization skills
  6. Ability to travel occasionally to support Marketing events
  7. Must be willing and able to work daily in Boston, MA Office
  8. Fluent in English
  9. Desirable: previous experience using the following tools: Marketing automation software, preferably HubSpot, CRM system, preferably Salesforce, Outreach
