What you’ll be doing

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be the cornerstone of our growth team—responsible for identifying, engaging and converting high-quality prospects across our key segments. You’ll combine smart targeting with high-output outreach to generate qualified opportunities for our sales and research teams. You’ll help us answer one of the most important questions in the business: How do we consistently generate high-quality leads, fast?

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Own the outbound AI stack. You’ll take the lead on configuring and optimising our outbound automation tools—whether that’s Clay, Apollo, or custom workflows—so we can scale high-quality outreach without losing precision. You’ll test different AI-driven approaches to prospecting, personalisation, and sequencing, and continuously improve performance based on data. We’re aiming to 4x our automated lead generation in the next 6 months—and you’ll be the one making it happen.
  • Own outbound outreach campaigns across our priority segments. You’ll take the lead on planning and executing outbound outreach—cold and warm—across email, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels to generate high-quality, sales-ready opportunities. We work across a diverse set of industries, including non-profits, agencies, corporates, and brands. You’ll be responsible for writing compelling copy, building and managing sequences, testing subject lines, and continuously optimising for conversion across each of these segments.
  • Build and enrich prospect lists. You’ll identify high-potential companies and decision-makers using smart criteria and research, collaborating closely with the GTM and marketing teams to feed well-targeted lists into outbound.
  • Set meetings and qualify opportunities. You’ll create sales opportunities and ensure we’re in the strongest position to convert them—whether that’s by improving our sales collateral, refining scripts, or sharpening our proposals. In many cases, you’ll be the one taking the meeting and converting the lead yourself: nurturing prospects all the way through to running demos and closing deals.
  • Feed learnings into strategy. You’ll act as an early signal detector—surfacing what messages resonate, which use cases get traction, and what prospect objections we need to overcome. You’ll use this to help sharpen our targeting and proposition.

Who you are

  • You’ve got 1–2 years' experience in B2B business development, lead generation, or commercial roles in a fast-paced environment (agency, SaaS, research or insights a plus—but not required).
  • You’re a strong communicator, both written and verbal—you can think on your feet and explain complex things clearly.
  • You’ve got a big engine, you’re very high agency, you love getting stuff done and working at pace.
  • You’re curious and analytical: you want to understand why a campaign worked (or didn’t) and how we can improve next time.
  • Excited about experimentation (including with AI!) and failing fast
