Job Description:

We are seeking a self-driven, polished individual enthusiastic about contributing to the success of our rapidly growing company. The primary responsibility of the BDR is securing appointments for apexanalytix sales representatives and supporting them to convert opportunities to closure. The BDR will also be involved in prospecting and lead generation to introduce apexanalytix’s services and product suite to decision makers at prospect companies, gathering information on potential software and service needs. Most leads are generated from cold calls, so we’re seeking someone that is a go-getter, persistent when attempting to connect with prospective clients. The compensation package rewards the BDR substantially for achieving sales appointment and closure goals. Appointments are generated primarily from cold calls, marketing campaigns, and industry event follow-up. The BDR will work with and update a contact and customer relationship management database. This is a work from home job opportunity. This is a remote role, in the UK. This role requires German language fluency.

Specific Responsibilities:

Set quality meetings for sales executives to achieve new business revenue targets by:

  • Conducting cold calls to potential clients to gather contact information for new leads resulting in appointments for sales VPs.
  • Providing timely follow-up on marketing campaigns.
  • Creating and executing targeted campaigns, working with the marketing team to convert prospects into customers.
  • Using social networking websites, business directories, and web searches to prospect new leads.
  • Responding to inquiries from the 800 number and website.
  • Researching target accounts, adding new prospect companies within revenue thresholds, and creating a knowledge base of current and historic information (e.g., current revenue, competitors, transaction volume, ERP systems, software used).
  • Working with Sales Executives to bring accounts to closure.
  • Promoting and drawing attendance to conferences and events.
  • Maintaining a database of leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities accurately and consistently. Preparing sales VPs with contact and account knowledge for meetings.

Position Requirements:

  • Knowledge of basic sales principles, processes, and methods.
  • Ability to understand apexanalytix’s value proposition.
  • Knowledge of the industry, market, buying behaviors, competitors, software, and service solutions.
  • Understanding how businesses market their services to prospective customers.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of previous sales or business experience preferred, especially in technology sales targeting Accounts Payable or similar.
  • Experience with executive appointment/meeting setting agencies is a plus.
  • Experience with B2B, executive calling, requiring patience and persistence.

Skills and Characteristics:

  • Fluency in German (written and verbal).
  • Ability to identify decision-makers, understand their needs, and communicate the value of solutions.
  • Must have a driver’s license.
  • Ability to build internal relationships and respond constructively to rejection.

Software and Technology Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Polished personal presentation.
  • Positive, persistent work approach.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • A physical telephone line is required.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about contributing to a growing company.
