Job Title: Business Development Representative

Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid (3 x days in the office)

Salary: 45k base salary & competitive commission structure

Job Description

As the Sales Development Representative you will be tasked with driving revenue growth by identifying new leads, filling the sales pipeline and contributing to securing new business with a key focus areas will be the EMEA, UK & US sectors.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Create and implement lead generation strategies to attract and acquire qualified leads, predominantly in the US and EMEA.
  2. Conduct primary market research to identify target ICP clients, ICP profiles within these clients that are suitable to target and specific individuals within organisations that have decision making capabilities.
  3. Establish need drivers at prospects by having clear measurement metrics for interest and buying signals, isolating out the noise of those that will never make a buy decision.
  4. Identifying and nurturing potential customers that have been researched and sourced through various channels such as LinkedIn, HubSpot, intelligence-based systems and industry events.
  5. Initiate contact with potential customers through emails, calls, social media messages, or other communication channels using a templated form and sequencing from within HubSpot.
  6. Qualify leads to determine if they are a good fit for, and where possible understand the prospect’s needs, challenges, and buying timeline.
  7. Schedule meetings or demos between qualified leads and the sales team which will be a key metric for success.
  8. Manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities, tracking their progress through the sales process using HubSpot to update records and ensure accurate data entry.
  9. Work closely with the sales team to hand off qualified leads and provide them with the necessary context and information.
  10. Feedback into the marketing and product teams based on interactions with prospects, sharing insights about market trends, customer pain points, and the effectiveness of messaging and sales materials.
  11. Building an objections response template and completing a SWOT against competitors to aid prospect engagement.

Key Skills

  1. Degree qualified, or equivalent.
  2. At least 2 years working in an enterprise client facing prospecting role.
  3. Great presentation skills; confident and credible.
  4. Understanding of the typical sales cycle.
  5. Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office programs.
  6. Experience with LinkedIn and other social media.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication.
  8. Discretion with confidential client information.
  9. Experience with CRM tools, reporting and analysis (ideally HubSpot).
