Job Description:

Purpose of the Role

• Support the growth of the firm as an operational Business Development professional with project management experience for a 6–12-month maternity cover fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BD systems and process projects, ensuring their implementation across the firm.
• Lead project delivery, working closely with the Head of Bids and other leaders.
• Support CRM and experience/proposal systems, driving engagement and feedback.
• Attend meetings to identify operational inefficiencies and develop solutions.
• Track, measure, and report on project ROI.
• Develop strategies to promote operational priorities.
• Manage project planning, implementation, and training.
• Support client relationship tracking, secondment process, and bid management.
• Act as an advisor for BD systems and tools, promoting best practices.

Candidate Profile

• Proven success in managing projects in professional services, with experience in BD, marketing, or communications systems.
• Understanding of business development in legal or similar markets.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
• Highly organized, tech-savvy, and able to handle multiple projects under deadlines.
