Business Development Officer - New Hampshire/Maine
Join Recovery Centers of America as a Business Development Officer to expand our network of referral partnerships in New Hampshire and Maine.
At RCA, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Our mission is to help save 1 million lives by creating lasting positive change in our clients and their families. We seek a driven professional to develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other referral sources to increase client admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential referral partners including healthcare professionals, hospitals, therapists, and community organizations.
- Represent the treatment center at community events and conferences.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase referrals and admissions.
- Conduct presentations and facility tours for potential referral sources.
- Coordinate with clinical and admissions teams to ensure smooth referral processes.
- Track activities and outcomes using CRM software.
- Maintain knowledge of treatment programs, insurance acceptance, and admission criteria.
- Organize educational events for referral partners and the community.
- Collaborate with marketing on outreach strategies.
- Prepare reports on outreach activities and referral metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health.
- Knowledge of addiction treatment and recovery principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (~50%).
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in substance abuse treatment or mental health services.
- Existing regional relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations.
- Experience with healthcare marketing and HIPAA compliance.
