Job description

RPS (part of Tetra Tech) is looking for a BD & Marketing Executive to work in our Business Development team, supporting our UK Environment and Health, Safety, Risk consultancy divisions. This role can be based at any of our UK sites.

About the Team

Reporting to the Senior Business Development Director, working with our BD Assistant, and supporting our technical leads, you will be responsible for day-to-day sales-led marketing and business development to support new work generation.

Our Environment and HSR divisions consist of recognized experts serving diverse clients and contributing to wider RPS and Tetra Tech service propositions.

Our BD function drives business growth. Due to our success, we are seeking a BD & Marketing Executive to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting marketing campaigns: website content, case studies, thought leadership, podcasts, social media.
• Organizing and attending client events.
• Managing client relationship activities: meetings, follow-ups, account planning.
• Following up on client leads and inquiries.
• Supporting proposal development for bids, tenders, and evaluations.
• Coordinating with central Marketing and Bid Teams.
• Reporting on marketing activities, wins, pipeline, and opportunities.
• Building internal relationships across divisions.
• Gathering market intelligence to inform client targeting and new frameworks.

Occasional travel to UK offices may be required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in Marketing and/or BD is advantageous.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze market data and identify opportunities.
• Familiarity with lead management software.
• Efficient multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; digital marketing and AI experience are pluses.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in professional services, preferably in environmental, engineering, or related sectors.
• Background in business support roles.
• Further education or marketing qualifications are desirable.
