Business Development Managers x 2 – Traffic Management Systems
Role

Due to continued growth, my client is looking to strengthen the National sales team by recruiting two Business Development Managers to sell their detailed range of Transport Systems, including Portable Traffic Signals, Security Barriers, Variable Message Signs, and Accessories. The products are used in highway and road repair projects within utility, broadband installation, and highways sectors. You will be creating demand with Local Authorities and then back selling via National & Regional Traffic Management companies. As investment in regional & national infrastructure increases, the potential to grow the business base is vast. One of the vacancies will cover Birmingham North and the other Birmingham South. The client is flexible regarding the base location, as long as it’s not at the extremes such as Scotland or the deepest South West/South Wales. These roles offer exciting opportunities to work for a market leader.

Company

The company has been established for over 30 years and has a distribution network across all regions, enabling them to provide solutions for every Local Authority in road repair projects, supporting the safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles. They work directly with traffic management companies, utilities, civil contractors, airports, seaports, quarries, construction companies, and local authorities.

Person

My client is looking for two quality salespeople with hunger, drive, energy, and intellect. Candidates who can open and close doors, with tenacity and a can-do attitude. They are open to candidates from various construction product backgrounds; personal qualities and characteristics are more important. Sales experience in this sector is advantageous but not essential, provided you possess high energy and drive.
