Reports To: Air & Sea Sales Manager - South
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm - Hybrid/ Flexible / Remote
Salary: Competitive + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

The Opportunity

Due to exceptional growth within their Air & Sea division, they are expanding their UK sales team and seeking ambitious Business Development Managers to join the North & South region.
Reporting directly to the Air & Sea Sales Manager you'll play a key role in maintaining and growing an existing customer portfolio while actively identifying, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow a profitable customer base within the Air & Sea logistics sector.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Plan and execute structured sales activities through calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Identify and nurture key accounts, maximising revenue and cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Promote services and values, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Self‑generate appointments and convert opportunities into tangible revenue growth.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Air & Sea products, ensuring tailored and effective solutions for clients.
  • Handle client objections confidently and provide timely follow‑ups and resolutions.
  • Drive gross profit growth across all transport modes in line with company sales strategy.
  • Stay informed of market trends and participate in relevant campaigns to strengthen position.
  • Represent the business with professionalism and embody their approach to Business values.
About You
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Air & Sea freight sales (essential).
  • Proven track record in business development and account management within logistics.
  • Commercially astute, customer‑focused, and results‑driven.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Highly self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
