Business Development Manager Windows, Doors and Façades

Job Title: Business Development Manager Windows, Doors and Facades

Industry Sector: Fenestration, Window, Door, facades, Fabricators, Aluminium System Houses, Aluminium Systems, Aluminium Fabricators and Component Suppliers

Area to be covered: UK (Ireland & Scandinavia possibly in the future)

Remuneration: Up to £60,000

Benefits: Car Allowance and full benefits package

The role of the Business Development Manager Windows, Doors and Facades will involve:
  • Field sales position, promoting a manufactured range of plastic insulating strips, a vital component of metal windows, doors and façade systems (separate the inner and outer aluminium or steel frame with a thermal separation)
  • Selling into fabricators and aluminium system houses
  • Inheriting approx. 20 existing accounts with a view to on boarding new fabricators and aluminium system houses
  • 60% account management, 40% new business development
  • Responsible for circa £3m revenue
  • Targeted to increase sales by 14% in first year
  • No specific customer visit KPI s you will be expected to grow the sales in line with our clients strategic plan, how this is achieved is down to you!
  • Regular travel across the UK

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager Windows, Doors and Facades with:
  • A proven field sales track record within the fenestration market
  • In depth knowledge of windows, doors and façade systems
  • Must have prior experience selling into either fabricators or aluminium system houses
  • Specific knowledge of thermal break technology and aluminium profile systems would be advantageous
  • Comfortable with travel throughout the UK
  • Proven track record in new business development , with the ability to identify and convert opportunities within both existing and new customers
  • Technical aptitude although full training will be provided
  • IT literate, CRM proficient
