A leading environmental services firm is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in water hygiene solutions. This field-based position involves identifying new business opportunities and building relationships within Facilities Management. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of B2B sales experience and a strong understanding of compliance standards. Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ B2B sales experience, ideally in water hygiene or FM.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • CRM experience and a full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business in FM and compliance-driven sectors.
  • Meet with key decision-makers and present tailored solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery.
  • Attend industry events and stay up to date with compliance standards.

Summary

An established, employee-owned environmental services company is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Facilities Management and end-user sectors. This field-based role involves identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and offering compliance-led water hygiene and treatment solutions. Full training provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business in FM and compliance-driven sectors
  • Meet with key decision-makers and present tailored solutions
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery
  • Attend industry events and stay up to date with compliance standards (e.g. ACoP L8, HSG274)

Requirements
