Job Description:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our experienced Sales team.

Ideally located in the London, Home Counties, Surrey, Sussex Hampshire, Oxfordshire area.

The Business Development Manager will provide day-to-day Sales Activity to AGFAIT Solutions customers, prospects, and the AGFA HE organisation.

Acting as a single point of contact to customers and prospects for AGFA IT Solution products & services, the BDM is responsible for creating a territory plan and strategy, coordinating and controlling the sales process, managing prospect and client expectations, and negotiating contracts.

  • Create and execute a strategic territory plan
  • Focus on establishing new business relationships with non-Agfa client organisations
  • Act as a single point of contact to any assigned customer base for Agfa IT products & services
  • Accompany prospective customers from first contact to closing of contract
  • Qualification of accounts and opportunities
  • Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly business
  • Maintain and update the internal sales management tool
  • Manage customer/prospect relationships
  • Negotiate with customers/prospects
  • Negotiate service contracts
  • Explain and demonstrate the sold products/solutions and think strategically with the customer
  • Coordinate and control sales processes
  • Be the sales contact in hand-over from sales to services
  • Assist the service manager during proposal & negotiation phase for SMA

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years sales or pre-sales experience, preferably within Healthcare IT and/or Radiology
  • Proven experience in account/business development, new business sales
  • Clinical system sales, cardiology, radiology sales, IT sales to the healthcare market
  • Knowledge of the NHS is essential.
  • A background in healthcare or IT sales is an advantage.
