The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is central to driving our strategic sales efforts, with a focus on building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You will be responsible for executing the company’s sales strategy, developing a strong pipeline of prospects, and nurturing both new and existing client accounts.

A key part of the role involves staying ahead of market trends and uncovering customer-specific opportunities to deliver tailored solutions. You will work closely with internal teams across departments to ensure client needs are met effectively, while also contributing to the company’s overall profitability and growth.

This role is to be based in the north of the UK, preferably the Aberdeenshire area with frequent visits required to potential client sites as needed. This role will require at least 50% travel each month.

Role Accountabilities

  • Understanding and articulating the Fendercare solution portfolio to C-Suite clients.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business goals and increase market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, including the attendance of industry events to foster long-term business partnerships
  • Manage Customer Relationship (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Tools to build and maintain strong sales pipeline and be effective at accelerating opportunities through the sales stages
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities
  • Promote the Company's services portfolio to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and technical specifications.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, prepare and present business proposals and reports to senior management.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate training and support to the internal teams on any industry best-practice and regulatory changes.
