Job Description:

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving new client acquisition and revenue growth. You’ll identify and engage with SMEs and Mid to Large Corporates that trade both domestically and overseas, benefiting from our funding solutions. You will build strong relationships with introducers and intermediaries and work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Head of UK
• Generate and close new business opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals, and partnerships
• Manage relationships with key introducers, including brokers, advisors, and intermediaries
• Understand clients' funding challenges and structure tailored invoice finance solutions
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, collaborating with credit, risk, and operations teams
• Represent Accelerated Payments at industry events and webinars
• Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes
• Meet or exceed KPIs related to client acquisition and revenue

Requirements

• Proven track record in business development or sales within Invoice Finance or commercial lending
• Strong network of brokers, intermediaries, and referral partners
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, autonomous, and able to build relationships across teams
• Results-oriented, resilient, and target-driven

Preferred

• 5+ years in the Invoice Finance industry, including bank and non-bank institutions
• Experience in middle and back office Invoice Finance functions (advantageous but not essential)
• Established intermediary network (brokers, accountants, debt advisors)
